1. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of the items in your order, particularly automotive paint products, and the delivery destination within Australia. As automotive paints are classified as dangerous goods (flammable liquids), they require specialised handling and road transport, which may impact shipping costs.
Applicable shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout prior to purchase. Flat rate shipping options may be available for smaller, non-paint accessories.
**Please note that deliveries to remote or hard-to-access locations may attract additional surcharges as determined by the shipping carrier.
2. Delivery Times
Orders for in-stock items are generally dispatched within 1–2 business days from the date of order. Custom-mixed paint orders may require an additional 1–2 business days for processing. Any non stocked items please allow additional 3-4 days processing
Estimated delivery times for standard road transport of automotive paint within Australia are typically between 3–10 business days from the dispatch date, depending on the delivery location. These timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control, including carrier delays, weather conditions, or public holidays.
3. Shipping Methods and Carriers
Automotive paint products are shipped exclusively via certified road transport carriers, including StarTrack & Couriers Please, which are authorised to handle dangerous goods in accordance with Australian regulations.
Non-hazardous products may be shipped using alternative reputable carriers such as Australia Post or other suitable courier services. The carrier selected for your order will depend on the nature of the items and the delivery destination.
4. Order Processing
Orders are processed during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed before the daily cut-off time on a business day may be processed the same day; otherwise, they will be processed on the next business day.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking details to monitor your delivery.
Occasionally, if a product is in high demand, we may need to source it from outside
our standard delivery network, potentially causing dispatch delays. We will notify you
if delivery times are longer than expected.
5. Tracking Your Order
Tracking information will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched. Please allow several hours for tracking details to become active on the carrier’s website.
6. Specific Shipping Conditions for Automotive Paint Products/ Dangerous Goods
Due to regulatory requirements for transporting flammable liquids, the following conditions apply to all automotive paint orders:
- Carrier: All Dangerous Goods is shipped via certified road transport carriers StarTrack Express, Couriers Please.
- Packaging: All paint products are packaged in accordance with dangerous goods transport regulations.
- Delivery Address: Automotive paint cannot be delivered to PO Boxes or parcel lockers. A physical street address is required.
- Signature Required: A signature is required upon delivery. Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery during business hours.
- Regional Restrictions: Some remote or isolated locations may not be serviceable due to transport limitations. Customers are encouraged to contact us prior to ordering if unsure.
7. Liability for Loss or Damage
All orders are carefully packed to minimise the risk of damage during transit. Once dispatched and in the care of the carrier, the risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer.
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence of the damage to both the packaging and contents. We will assist in liaising with the carrier to resolve the issue. Any liability for loss or damage will be limited to the value of the affected goods, in accordance with applicable consumer laws.
8. Returns Due to Shipping Issues
If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer, or if delivery cannot be completed due to the order not being collected or accepted, additional shipping charges may apply to re-dispatch the order.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and ensuring availability to receive and sign for deliveries, particularly for automotive paint products. Any special delivery instructions should be communicated at the time of ordering.
